Starbucks Goes to the Kids
A couple days ago with our girls in tow, Kelly and I were standing in line at Starbucks, our favorite place to visit at Dolphin Mall. We choose Dolphin Mall over Sunset Place and The Falls because of the gigantic play area in the food court. We also like to hit Southland's play area. Unfortunately, there is no Starbucks at Southland to keep the adults entertained and medicated. In total, we typically drive past four malls to get to the one with the Starbucks and the killer Playland.Anyway, I was waiting for my Triple Shot Caramel Machiatto and
Earlier last week, I noticed one of Kourtney's favorite sing along artists on NBC announcing that Starbucks was carrying her CD. Immediately, I thought that Starbucks had made a great move by jumping onboard the Laurie Berkner "Music for Little People Express." Those thoughts were confirmed when Kourtney took me out like a 16 pound bowling ball going through plastic pins. She matter of factly exclaimed, "I want this! I like this, Dad!"
The Starbucks crowd has kids. Starbucks is getting the kids and the parents of kids and the kids of parents. Brilliant. Still more brilliant is how Starbucks, a coffee joint is making bigger inroads into the music industry than anyone has in the last 50 years or so.
Oh, by the way, we are getting a Starbucks right across the street from our new location. The article says Starbucks may move in. But, acording to my super secret unnamed covert source, its already a done deal.

I don't know whether to rejoice with you or pray for you! I mean, isn't it dangerous to have a Starbucks that close to you.
if I had to pass one everyday, I would be in trouble...so would my wallet. Anyhow, We know refer to Starbucks as "Fivebucks."
Well, TRAVIS...TRAVIS...Travis...
We all have our "cross" to bear, I guess.
And may you be continually blest by St Starbucks...the patron saint of all Pentecostal preachers.
Dude... If they put Starbucks that close to me they might as well run a pipe into my office!
Hi Travis,
Interesting article about Starbucks, but at the end I saw that really neat translation tool. How does a person get one of those?
There are a couple different ways to do it. This site gives you a few different engines to work by.
